[As for] a woman and her husband’s affairs, one does not know.

This proverb cautions against interfering in other people’s private affairs. What goes on between husband and wife is considered as the highest level of privacy.

  Translation: [As for] a woman and her husband’s affairs, bachelors do not meddle.
